New D.I.C Head Joined: 3 Jul, 2009 Posts: 1	Hi There, right now im develope some project to capture object from autocad to open and show in my VB project but only the draw can anybody help me how to open .dwg file with vb and put the picture from autocad to picture box in VB, i try some technic using Dim acadApp As AutoCAD.AcadApplication but the project open the autocad, what i want is open the drawing in picturebox in vb project, can anybody help me ? thank you for attention dody

D.I.C Regular Joined: 9 Dec, 2008 Posts: 476 Thanked: 37 times My Contributions	Doubt very much can be done. dwg files are not image files (is vector not raster data). Unless there is someway to generate a thumbnail of the file, like what AutoCad shows in its OpenFile dialog box. Why do you need to do this? This post has been edited by June7: 3 Jul, 2009 - 08:28 PM
