I'm not quite understanding your question. Are you saying you have, say an HTML page, and want to change it to a PHP page?

Then you just rename the file from something.html to something.php and if your server allows for PHP it will work the same.

If you want to just try out PHP to see your specs (assuming your server allows PHP) try creating a file with this in it:

CODE
<?php
phpinfo();
?>

That should output a whole bunch of stuff.

Is this your own website? Or is it one on the net. You cant change the ones on the net (I dont know why you would want to though...). Besides, if you have a HTML file, you don't want to change the extension unless you had PHP content in the file.
