The site skin is a little bland, but I don't have a problem with that. One thing I noticed is that the left bar is fairly big. aybe make it a little smaller, that will give the content a bit more space (not that it is small space currently) and maybe add a padding around the entire thing to give some space between the edge of the window and text.

I'm not sure how important this would be to you but it took a while for the site to fully load using my wireless connection. Like firebolt said, try and add content everyday. Google especially likes blogs/sites that are updated very frequently. That will help new readers find your blog. You could also try getting links from sites that have a common interest with your blog. Link backs will help increase traffic. Since linking my blog with other sites I've gone from 4 or 5 visitors a day to 40+ a day. A really big increase!
