Happy 4th of July everyone! What's everyone doing today? Me, well I'm writing code for the first part of the day, then we may go to a fireworks show, or we may just do nothing at all
Just found out Boyz II Men and The Four Tops are playing tonight in Dublin, OH. so instead of Worthington's fireworks I am going to see them and Dublins fireworks instead.
For most of the day I am just hanging out, may go down to the Great American Picnic. Then later tonight I am going to watch the fireworks (amazingly uncommon I know).
We went to hubby's cousin's yesterday. We did not go see fireworks, but the folks next door were having a very good time...I think they were feeling pretty good, haha...and singing karaoke (getting progressively worse throughout the evening, I might add) and they had some fireworks. So in a way, we did go see a firework show...and watched and listened to folks acting stupid. Mostly listened. But I liked the music. We also had a campfire after it cooled down, and the kids roasted marshmallows and made s'mores.
Well, I was at my parents starting around 1330, and we didn't leave till almost 2200. I cooked (Like normal), we watched a rugby game (US vs Can, and US kicked ass), watched a little of WallE, and then watched close to 100 different firework displays. My parents live on a river, and we can see the ones done in North Point, Baltimore's Inner Harbor, Fort Howard, and then about 50+ private shows all up and down the river, including one 3 door down from their house. Minicoder's first 4th of July...it was great, and he looked cute in his partiotic outfit!
