So due to the wonders of a free enterprise system -- I have a choice in my wired-fed entertainment provider and, more importantly, my high speed internet provider.

Comcast or FiOS -- Now we currently have Cable and it is ok, the technical help is clueless and the extend of their troubleshooting is to blame the splitter for any problems (hurricane in the Gulf -- must be the cable splitter). BUT -- I get pretty darn fast internet -- speakeasy speed test clocks me at 15871 kbps down and 4728 kbps up -- seems pretty darn fast to me, maybe I am crazy.

Now my GF is all enamored with FiOS but I am skeptical. From what I have read online -- those who care about internet love FiOS, those who care about TV prefer Cable.

Is FiOS faster? They claim 25/15 which would be faster than my current service (I think).
