Critical JavaScript Vulnerability Found In FireFox 3.5

The .NET Dude Joined: 8 Dec, 2008 Posts: 3,040 Thanked: 217 times Dream Kudos: 900 Expert In: C#, VB.NET, WPF, .NET Framework My Contributions	Mozilla publicly announced that there was a critical JavaScript vulnerability detected in the new version of Firefox - 3.5. The vulnerability was discovered in the JavaScript JIT (Just In Time) compiler and it can be used to execute malicious code on the client machine. Currently, no fix is available. There is a workaround present though to temporarily minimize the security risk. For more details on the issue visit this Mozilla Security Blog page.

The Real SkyNet Joined: 8 Nov, 2008 Posts: 627 Thanked: 43 times Dream Kudos: 175 My Contributions	3.5.1 has been released and has a fix for this issue. Be forewarned, as of this moment, there is not a compatible version of the .NET Framework Assistant add-on.
