Installing App on Vista Problems - VS2008

New D.I.C Head Joined: 23 Mar, 2009 Posts: 8	I have a VB.Net app that I'm using a VS2008 deployment project to distribute. It works fine with XP (the OS I'm developing on). When it's installed on a Vista machine, I get all kinds of permission problems such as making the .mdb database read-only, can't save a file to a sub folder created by the installation because it's set to read-only, and a few similar problems. I've also tried going to the desktop shortcut and changing it to run as Administrator, it's grayed out. Any help, references, or pointers would be appreciated. I've run out of places to look. Mark.
