Hello everyone,

I'm trying to code up a Mancala game for my girlfriend and i so we can play over the internet. I was going to attempt this feat with sockets, but was advised against this by a friend of mine. He suggested using the Jabber libraries that have been developed for Python, which sound like an excellent idea...

... except i have no idea what to do. I have no experience with networking or with these Jabber libraries. Is there any advice anyone can give me? Any tutorials or walkthroughs? Any suggestions to better/easier methods to implement this idea?

Thanks,
`Staunch
