Heya all,

I'm wondering if there is a way to create a list or combo box in excel that would autocomplete the entry being input.
At the moment, I have the basic list box established through data validation, but when I use the function it seems I have to always click down and click the item and only if it has been input earlier, would it autocomplete. I tried hitting down-arrow, but that just tosses me into the next row.

Is there a way to do this data entry without having to use the mouse?

Thanks

sad.gif no solution I guess.
My only proposed solution to this is to have "hidden" after the title row, the items in the list box. That way I would get the autocomplete function.
I say "proposed" because there is an inconvenience when uploading the data into a database, as we have to delete those rows prior to the upload.
