D.I.C Head Joined: 20 Apr, 2009 Posts: 51 Thanked: 1 times My Contributions	Just wanting advice. I am creating my own mp3 player for personal use. Containing a lcd screen and key pad navigation. But i am stuck at the moment with eeprom programming. I don't exactly know what it does. Plus where would the OS of the device. cause the eeprom isn't big enough is there a way to store the OS on flash memory and use the eeprom to boot. ??,

D.I.C Head Joined: 23 Apr, 2009 Posts: 62 Thanked: 1 times My Contributions	Hi, you must explain a little more about what platform you will use? Are you aiming at an 32-bit MCU or 16 Bit or 8 Bit? How would you implement the mp3-decoder? An external chip or in the MCU or use some DSP? Some words that might be good in your question: PIC, PIC32, AVR, AVR32, MSP430, ARM, ARM Cortex M3 etc... So in short, I need more info to help you out..
