This being my first post I am confused whether this is the right forum to post this thread or not. I am interested in pursuing a degree in CS. Just wanted to know where will I work once i graduate with that degree?

to the OP,

May I suggest doing a search for a job listing titled "Software Engineer entry level"

The job listings that come up are indicative of the type and quantity of job postings you can expect to be available when you attain your degree. Try looking on Monster.com or another head hunter site or even USAJOBS.gov for federal employment listings, you would be eligible to apply for these with that degree.

Most of those positions seem to be along the east or west coast.
oh, and also.. try to be more concise with your questions. You asked a question that technically would be impossible for us to answer...and we are technical people by trade, hence the jokes smile.gif
Good luck!

Students interested in a career in computer sciences need to opt for a Bachelor of Computer Science Degree to qualify for jobs in this field. A good Bachelors Degree in Computer Sciences will train students in implementing and designing software. Industries that require computer science degrees are wide-ranging. Computer specialists are called for in entertaining, publishing, business, commerce, law, medicine, gaming, manufacturing, food and agriculture and much more. It would be difficult to find any source of employment or industry today that isn’t run by computers and if you have a Computer Science Degree, there will be no lack of job opportunities for you once you graduate.
