Currently i'm doing an open-source project which uses code from a GPL application.
It uses two components licensed under LGPL and MIT terms.
I've modified those components for my application and providing the modified source code.

So please help me to choose the right license for my application.
Will GPL be OK? unsure.gif

Thanks.

More information.

If your project uses code from a GPL project, then your project must also be GPL.

Your project can link with a LGPL library regardless of the license, but if you want to include the LGPL code then I believe your project must also be LGPL.

Unsure about MIT but I'm pretty sure it is less strict than GPL/LGPL.

So which license should i use?unsure.gif

Is it possible to assign different license to each project in a solution.
I mean, give GPL for my main application project, LGPL for the first component, MIT for the other component.
