Wasn't sure where to put this, so I'm sticking it here.

Who's got google wave yet? I got it earlier, and I'm playing with it now. I've set up a public wave, if you want to find it, do a search for:
with:public tag:dreamincode

You *might* have to be a registered wave user to see the embedded wave here, I can see it fine but my friend can't.

I have very little interest in Google Wave at this point. All my interaction takes place on Facebook and I don't expect my friends to suddenly starting Waving. I did request a gmail invite back in the day but that was because it's just email. Wave requires others to also be on the platform; meaning if you're the first person to get an invite, there isn't much point until your friends get on.

I might show more interest in Wave once it goes public and there are more topic specific waves for me to chat about my interests. Right now though I have online forums for topic discussion and Facebook for friends.

yeah well u don't really get invited until google invites you. we can only nominate people to be invited, and with enough nominations they may prioritize you.

So instead of using twitter, email, facebook, IM, or generally any other technology currently available (like cell phones), we just use Google Wave?

Perhaps I need to actually use it to see its benefit but as of right now I am underwhelmed.
