I don't think there is anyone else in nanaimo but whatever, theres usually a kayaking trip at least once a month with my school, 15$ for the whole day (including equipment)

its not that cold here, you can go out without a heavy sweater and your fine (not cold) the water isn't much colder

I know this post is old, realy old but.. Kajaking with a heavy sweather? If you want to sink down the lake that's a good idea :3.
