Hi, I'm trying to compile python on my NAS... I have hacked it a little so that I have ssh-access to it and that way I downloaded the python source with wget. I have had it on for a long time now, first time I tried I also had that but it seamed to repeate it self all the time checking for size of int, dubble, float and some commands and .h files. The second time I compiled in the background, and I can see this with "ps -e | grep make"
CODE
2487 master 1140 S make
10983 master 1096 S make -f Makefile.pre Makefile
19437 master 1096 S make -f Makefile.pre Makefile
27887 master 1096 S make -f Makefile.pre Makefile
3924 master 1096 S make -f Makefile.pre Makefile
12377 master 1096 S make -f Makefile.pre Makefile
20846 master 1096 S make -f Makefile.pre Makefile
29312 master 1096 S make -f Makefile.pre Makefile
5348 master 1096 S make -f Makefile.pre Makefile
13800 master 1096 S make -f Makefile.pre Makefile
22266 master 1096 S make -f Makefile.pre Makefile
30718 master 1096 S make -f Makefile.pre Makefile
6762 master 1096 S make -f Makefile.pre Makefile
15221 master 1096 S make -f Makefile.pre Makefile
23685 master 1096 S make -f Makefile.pre Makefile
32152 master 1096 S make -f Makefile.pre Makefile
8180 master 1092 S make -f Makefile.pre Makefile
11280 root 472 S grep make
The number of "make -f Makefile.pre Makefile" have been adding on by time...
What does this mean? Does it not work at all or why does it seam to repeate it self?
