Visual Source Safe settings, Do you use VSS or some other source control?

D.I.C Head Joined: 2 Mar, 2009 Posts: 59 Thanked: 1 times My Contributions	Hi Peeps, I'm using Visual Source Safe at work as our source control (the team is too small to justify Team System). Previously I had been checking my work in when I had completed my code to a satisfactory standard free of bugs. I've now been requested to check in before I leave work in whatever state my software is in. My issue is that I'm finding checking in my files using the automatic check in is causing havoc in overwriting files I don't want changed and this is aside from the obvious problems which can occur from checking in incomplete code (with bugs). If anyone has experience using Visual Source Safe or using source control, please give me some tips on what is the best practice. Thanks!!
