I'm having a problem when opening IE7. I have Vista. I get a box error come up that has an exclamation point in it and an ok you have to click to get the page to open. Also I'm having problems with web windows opening minimized. I've tried maximizing, but the next time they appear minimized. The ok box is really frustrating. Hope I'm not being to vague. Thanks.

Well you are being quite vague smile.gif Is it an issue with something you're developing? If not what OS are you using? Is it happening whenever you visit a site? If it's not something you're developing then this needs to be in a different forum, so let me know so I can get it moved to the proper forum smile.gif

Sorry...new to this. I guess it was posted on incorrect topic. I get the error message when starting the internet, which is IE7. I get it on a few other sites I visit also. Thanks so much. smile.gif

What does the error say? That is first thing. Do you have setting to always notify if a script is not working correctly? Try some debugging if you have not clue. Write a "Hello, World" HTML page, open it in the same browser and see if you get an error. Without more explicit details, it is hard for anyone to help you....

I would check the taskmgr for processing running that you don't know. Also, you could try killing explorer.exe & then from taskmgr clicking file, new -> explorer.exe & seeing if the problem continues. If the problem does not continue after restarting explorer.exe, then you probably have a virus, or some sort of unwanted malware that has targeted & corrupted your Windows explorer (probably to assure that it is always running). If the problem does continue, then I would keep searching through the process list on the taskmgr list to see what it could be. If that doesn't solve it, you could always remove & reinstall IE7.
