Help with basic shell script to orgonize my media center

I've never messed with these very much however my media center has swollen to quite a mess and a few hard drives now. Can anyone make me a basic file where I can fill in the extensions ? I just want it to put files with movie extensions into a movie folder and the same with music.

Would appreciate any assistance and thanks,
