RecordCount shows -1 after query executed., php-mssql with ADO DB Connection with out dsn

Dear Friend,

I had a problem in my project..

I'm coding in Php with ms sql server of ADO DB connection so went for the commands of ADO DB but some of the commands are not working..

CODE
Catchable fatal error: Object of class variant could not be converted to string in D:\Hosting\4628698\html\circleinfo_0.php on line 210
  

This error occurs when i execute a query . on the top of the headings..


when i execute the Query after that i need to calculate the records

CODE
$num_rows = $resultset->RecordCount();

but it is not working..
I was interested in knowing the value so i displayed it and i found that it is printing -1 as its value.

I read that $ADODB->COUNRECS = false in default then how do i change it to true.

Plz Help me..

it prints -1 because the query is erroneous. Try to fix your query first. Can you post your query statement here?
