My Contributions
Hi all,

I'm trying to create a scrolling menu of buttons that has a roll over and a selected effect as well as changing the rollover and selected state of another movie clip. The attached fla is my attempt. As it is painfully obvious, I am not a programmer but really need this to work efficiently. What should happen is this: as a user rolls over the name of a county in the list, the name highlights and also the county in the map movie clip highlights. When clicked the name of the county changes color and the associated county changes color also. There are also issues with unselecting previous selected menu items when a new one is selected...basically I've bitten off more than a designer can chew... crazy.gif

It seems to work pretty good until I load the swf into a shell fla I've created. I think it probably has something to do with my path designations but I've tried lots of options without success. I have not included the shell fla because it exceeds the upload limit but it just loads the attached swf into a movie clip.

Thanks for any help,
Mark
