How to convert Excel Tables into Oracle Tables?

New D.I.C Head Joined: 31 Aug, 2005 Posts: 7	Hi there! I am having trouble in converting Exel table into Oracle Tables. Actually i had to develop an airline reservation system using Oracle. But somehow, i could manage to build in Exel. Now the thing is to convert it. Can someone help me out? More information about my project is: It is in ASP.Net and Dreamweaver. VB.Net is also been used. Thanks.

g++ -o drink whiskey.cpp Joined: 12 Jul, 2002 Posts: 12,977 Thanked: 116 times Dream Kudos: 25 My Contributions	Actually, we prefer to provide solutions on the boards, as maore people can benefit from them that way. changing your solution will be easy enough...it's a matter of connecting to a different database. If you can provide the connection strings and objects you are uisng to connect to Access, we can guide you on switching them to Oracle. Of course, this will entail that you have the same tables with the same schema in an Oracle database.

The user would like to switch this Access database for an Oracle database. As such, he really needs to import those Access tabkles into an Oracle database, and modify his connection and manipulation objects.

The user is using Access, not Excel. 2. The user WANTS to migrate the application to Oracle. The connection string and object used will change. Please ensure you have a full understanding of the question before you reply.
