Can you be a little more specific with regards to the parameters for the program? Do you need to accept the input in text format? Image? Will the user provide the size of the matrix to be used? What format does the output need to be in?

Pliz i also need a solution for the sudoku puzzle in C++. Input will be read in from a text file and all possible solutions may be found. The level of difficulty should also be calculated.

PLiz if you have any solution at least close to this than pliz email me at xlonehats@glamsham.com

Lol a program that solves a sudoku, and you get the values from a txt file??
How messy is that going to be oO
API is teh best choice. And not that I know much of it but it must be a bit tough for the program to solve it by clicking a Solve it button and 2 lines of algo. >_<

the header of the file could list the dimensions of the overall suduko, as well as the dimensions of the inner squares, vuala. fscanf(...) in my eyes, an api would be overkill, not to mention platform specific.

It's always possible doing it txt way although I'm the kinda person who needs a neat and smexii interface ^^
Apparently what interests lonehats is not learning how to do it but having it all written out for him...
