1a) What is the number 298 represented as a binary number?
1 0010 1010
1b) Represent the number -73 in 8-bit Two's Complement
1011 0111

I bet it's really easy considering its the first question, but I can't find a website that explains it without going into all the mathmatical aspects.

Well, you need the mathematical aspects...that is how you convert from decimal to binary...wihtout the mathematical apsect, you can't do it. There is a good explanation of the methods here:

Were you looking for an easy method for conversion?
