I don't know if anyone remembers from math text books printed in the early 80s. Where they would have pages dipicting "programs". With flow charts instead of straight code: Diamonds for IF statements, circles for comands to be executed, and squares for the end of the "program".
I'm looking for a program that can let me draw such things, to help debug the code im writing for fun. Thanks

Flowcharting is used extensively to this day for programs of any complexity.
Microsoft Visio is the proprietary standard.
The Draw component of OpenOffice has some flowcharting capabilities, but theyr are somewhat limited.
You may wish to google for "Free Flowcharting Software'.

I did another search. (I guess I had to write that post to think of the right key word: flow chart)
