first of all please check the number of braces you used in the if statement.
if they are ok then could you give the conditions on which the output id dependent .maybe that would help smile.gif

Actually the limitation of your code is that your function works fine as long as the following condition is met:

width <= ( height / 2 ) + 2

EDIT : My bad...Didn't realise you were trying to make an R...I thought it was an 'A'.

Hi frog,

Thank you for your comments. The braces are all fine. The user is asked to input any height and width of their choice -they can be different values. I have stored each value in its own variable.

I just can't seem to get the boolean expression correct.
