My Contributions
If anybody is willing to help me (for free), I need help developing a National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) Notepad. NaNoWriMo is a contest to write 50000 words of fiction (a novel) in one month. I started making a program to type it, but I didn't get very far, since I am an EXTREME beginner at C++. I uploaded all the files Dev-Cpp made in a zip foler if somebody is willing to help me. My program wants to be basically this:
  • 1. A full screen SIMPLE text editor with a black background and green or amber text, so it is easy on your eyes and keeps distractions away.
  • 2. Has a timer that starts on Nov. 1 and ends on Nov. 30 each year
  • 3. Has a word count down that tells you how far you are to the 50,000 words
That's basically all. The reason I can't pay anybody is because NaNoWriMo is a nonprofit organizatoin/group/contest, so I can't charge anybody money. I would like to give it to them (if I could ever get it developed) so the NaNoWriMo participants have an easier time during November writing their novels.
