Normally distributed random numbers?

Arachnid Joined: 10 Jul, 2002 Posts: 769 My Contributions	My problem is very simple, I want to generate a random number which is normally distributed, as opposed to linearly random. I'm still in the process of researching solutions, so I might well come up with something on my own, but if anyone has done this before, or could direct me to functions / scripts etc. that might be useful I would very much appreciate it!
