jtable selected cell border, changing the border of that cell

hi all! I am making a calendar in Java, here's how it looks:

As you may notice, the selected cell's border is changed. I do not want this to happen. I manager to turn purple the background of that cell, but I still can't get rid of thay border. I just want the background to change, not the border! any help? thanks in advance.

Never mind, problem solved! It was simply with the setBorder method of the renderer.
