Hello, I would like to export the contents of queried dataset to Excel using a button. The only method that I found migrates to a new page. Any thoughts?

You can export any data into excel by sticking the code
CODE

<cfcontent type='application/ms-excel' file="filename.xls">

at the top of your page. to do this you can make a form submit to a page that exports your query to excel. if you want it to look right only use one table, follow simple html rules and as little styling as possible and it will come out looking pretty decent.
