Removing my JTable within an action listener

New D.I.C Head Joined: 17 Apr, 2007 Posts: 2 My Contributions	Hey guys i need some help i'm trying to write a program that uses a JTable and i need help figuring out how when i use my actionlistener class for my buttons so it is supposed to redo my data in my JTable. So my instructor has said we're supposed to remove the table then readd it when we push the button to refresh it. HOWEVER when i try to do this it can't fine my JTable which i have called jt. PLease help. I can provide my GUI class if it is needed.

D.I.C Head Joined: 9 Jan, 2007 Posts: 61 My Contributions	i think removing and re-adding the table is too taxing on the memory than just firing one of several TableModel events that would refresh the table just fine, eg fireTableChanged(). Anyway, if for the sake of interest your instructor asked you to remove and re-add, then send your GUI and we can help you do just that
