hi, i have sql server database with 2 field id and name i filled dropdown listbox with field (id) now i want to get the record from field name based on selected element of drop down list box so when the the index changed it should show the correspond name in the textbox.

Can you post the code you are currently using?

Are you using bound or unbound controls to display your data?

Depending on how you are storing values from your database will determine the particular solution you will need for this situation.
