Hi I am trying to create an ArrayList with the following instructions. I am unclear what variable is actually the ArrayList and how to declare it. Any help with the constructor, variable and ArrayList declaration would be greatly appreciated.

The class will consists of an instance variable called x, a reference
to an ArrayList whose elements are doubles. The Statistics class will consist
of the following methods:
1. A parameterized constructor that takes an explicit parameter data, a
reference to an ArrayList of doubles, and sets the x reference to it.

Is this the complete set of instructions you have received?

We, or at least I, are not going to do your home work for you. We don't mind helping but you have to do the biggest effort. smile.gif
