can any one help me out to do timer program(analog and digital timer program) in ruby language.please as i am new to ruby.

Its against the policy to give you the code directly, but here are a few pointers that'll give you a sense of direction. First get Ruby Tk. Its already there if you used the one click installer. Otherwise you can get a Gem for it. The Tk is used to build the GUI you'll need for the analog clock and if you want even for the digital.

A great intro to the Tk for Ruby is in the Pickaxe 1st edition and can be found here.

Try it out, write some basic code and if you get stuck, we're always here icon_up.gif
