custom dialog, like a JOptionPane dialog but something more...

D.I.C Addict Joined: 20 May, 2006 Posts: 687 Dream Kudos: 850 My Contributions	Hi all, I need to make a dialog box, but I need to be able to put any component in it. I want a dialog box with a JSlider to select a numeric value. In standard JOptionPane dialogs, the dialog window is displayed then the form is locked until we close the dialog box. I want to achieve this with a custom dialog. We cannot interact with the program in any way as long as the box is open. I hope you know what I mean, I cannot just display a JFrame because it does not lock the other windows. Any tip? Thanks. This post has been edited by alpha02: 16 May, 2007 - 04:47 PM
