I am finnally finished with my program v1.0 and want to deploy it with java web start. I got the JNLP working and all only proble is the security manager won't let the program access the System Tray. I googled it for a little while and found the keytool.exe and the jarsigner.exe. I created a keystore and everything. I signed the java file it ended up 5 KB bigger but it still won't execute becuse of the same problem. Can you perhaps give me step by step instructions on how to do this properly?

NB. Yes I did ask or all permissions in the JNLP

When the signed jar is exeuted, are you asked if you want to grant permission to the vendor of the application?
If not, try to check the security settings of hte jre in control panel (in windows), or whatever it is in Linux, and there should be a setting if the user is asked about this, or the application is simply refused to execute these protected actions.
