Help on starting a 2d game with Visual C++

New D.I.C Head Joined: 28 Jul, 2007 Posts: 17 My Contributions	well I started reading and learning c++ a few nights ago and gathered a few info here and there, after that I decided I wanted to make a simple 2d game or just being able to make someone walk around,I want to know how to do that, so if you guys could give me some links please

The books themselves are great in that they are extensive and provide TONS of samples, plus exam questions at the end of chapters along with their answers in addition to little projects. This site is for their game programming in c++ and visual c++ which should help you out tremendously. I have thrown in a few other sites that can help. Enjoy! Deitel game programming links Lots of resource links (some are a bit old, but some should still work for you) Game tutorials for multiple languages but has focus on C/C++
