Well, this is a non profit fan game based on Ultimate Mortal Kombat characters.

Originally started by the MKP Team, I the main editor left the Team and decided to go on with my own project; actually the download link is for a prototype version of the new enginee.

This game will have all kind of never seen on MUGEN details such as multilevel stages, Harakiris, Death Traps, Damage Reduction system (during kombos).

I attempt to create something never seen in any 2D fighting game: A weapon system in wich the caracter can actually draw his weapon, walk, crouch and attack with the weapon in his hands... he can throw the weapon to the opponent or if the opponent hit him he will loose the weapon, wich will fall to the ground, then the owner of the weapon can grab it from the floor.

I'm the editor responsible for the needed sprites, and I have some animations to show so if you're interested you can see the idea:

Mortal kombat again? LET THE GAME DIE! I can't believe how long that game has lasted and the number of versions of it. That and street fighter by capcom. They were fun back in the day, let them live on in our memories, not on our gaming systems!

Most of the projects now a days, are to mimic blizzard and "online mafia games" etc, its good to see some change.

yeah its true that some are trying to mimic blizzard and mafia games, but a game in mortal kombat is hardly a change. What ever happened to originality?
