What a day. Ever notice that a large part of your day, being in the IT Department, is spent putting out fires and not coding, well welcome to my day smile.gif At around 9AM this morning one of our System Engineers turned on the merge replication process for one of our databases, not knowing that the subscriber wasn't yet online for that subscription. Guess what the result was? How about disappearing data for about 4 hours until we could find it.

Disappearing data is NEVER a good thing, EVER, so you can imagine the confusion around here!
