Old NetBeans to New Netbeans

New D.I.C Head Joined: 21 Aug, 2007 Posts: 14 My Contributions	I am in class making a program in NetBeans 4 and i saved it to my flash drive, brought it home hoping it would run on my NetBeans version 5.5.1. But i cannot open it. Will saved files from older versions of NetBeans work with newer versions? Please Help! Thanks. -C4RN463

When i try to open it outside of Netbeans, it asks to "Open With.." and i tryusing netbeans but it wont let me.

code.rascal Joined: 11 Aug, 2005 Posts: 3,822 Thanked: 12 times My Contributions	There is no Open Program command in NetBeans If you meant Open Project (and it doesn't recognize it as a Netbeans project) then try New Project and Project with existing ant file, or if it doesn't work, then Project with existing source files. I think one of these should work. (maybe there is an even easier way, because when installing NB5.5 it automatically looks for previous NetBeans projects and imports them)
