Okay, we got oursoftware and build our knowledge base. Next option we want to track how many time the troubleshooting is successful.
Well a few theories are in the works.
i do know that the reporting can track usage. So can I have a usage report that tracks links clicked?
I mean I know that like epson, microsoft have did this resolve questions on their pages. How is the answer recorded? applets, emails?
Is there some kind of counter i can use?

what?¿?

if this is a web based application you could place a counter on each and every link. (I did this for my we page even though it no longer works) and it was very high overhead.

If this is the robohelp program designed by Adobe then you probably have to ask them about adding that feature.
