Retrieving the SMPTE timecode (GOP timecode), I need to retrieve the SMPTE timecode (GOP timecode) from MPEG2 video

New D.I.C Head Joined: 29 Oct, 2007 Posts: 1 My Contributions	Hello, I need to retrieve programmatically the GOP timecode (SMPTE timecode) from MPEG2 video-files and associate them with each frame. I'm using ffmeg to decode and access the MPEG2 frames, but I cannot find any info on how to retrieve the timecodes. I also need to retrieve any other meta-data embedded in these files. I could also switch to DirectShow to extract the timecodes if ffmpeg is not the right sollution. I appreciate your imput, PixelRain
