Code Snippets 2.1 - Rate Some Snippets!

After a long month of development, Code Snippets 2.1 has been released. Our very own snoj worked very hard and put up with a lot of last minute problems.

This release has the following new features:

* BBCode in Comments/Instructions/Description
* Report Bad/Broken Snippets
* Sort Snippets by Rating, Views, Submission Date, Author
* Pagination
* Rate Snippets!

So go ahead, rate your own snippets, rate other peoples snippets. The highest rated snippets display first in each category!

Over the next couple days, there may be delays in kudos or approval as any last bugs are worked out.

Well, here is the interesting thing:

On the snippet page :
Views: 21

In my Member panel:
Views: 3

I was assuming that this snippet did not get accepted, since the views had not gone up & I had not received kudos. Maybe since the switch to 2.1, this is a broken link bug thing? They don't truly reflect one another?

This is for the Esc key characters in DOS in C++ snippet http://www.dreamincode.net/code/snippet1373.htm

Lastly, I'd like to note that I'm not complaining, just pointing this out, since you are asking about the new snippets page.

Thanks for catching that, I think the query on the My Contributions page is pointing at the old data source.

Will have snoj update it.

What does it mean if the snippet name is stricken out? That it got disapproved?

You're the only one that can see your disapproved snippets, but we can look at making it more obvious.

skyhawk, the bug I brought up earlier during beta testing is still there. C# is listing 34 snippets on the main index and you are only able to see 28 of them. Now either some are hidden or disapproved or such, but those should not be listed in the total then. I think javascript is listing 80 and I believe only 79 are listed. I haven't checked many of the others.
