With the launch of the new Code Snippets 2.1, and a new way of tracking Kudos, you now have the opportunity to win $25 every month by being the Top Contributor!
At the end of each month, I'll pull a report of the top contributors for that month. The person who earned the most kudos will get a $25 Visa Gift Card (or PayPal if you have it). There is no limit to the number of times you can win! If you're the top contributor every month, you'll win every month!
So now, you could win $25 AND a DIC Thumb Drive!
Write those tutorials (their worth 50 kudos each!) and submit those snippets (worth 25 kudos each!).
Ready... Go!
Oh... I almost forgot to mention, you can see who's in the lead this month by checking the Top Contributors list on the right side of each page!
At the end of each month, I'll pull a report of the top contributors for that month. The winner will get a $25 Visa Gift Card (or PayPal if you have it). There is no limit to the number of times you can win!
So now, you could win $25 AND a DIC Thumb Drive!
So now we can win month to month, rather than having to wait an entire year to win again? Or is there still a waiting period?
That's good news But I don't think you can pass money to my country, because of some politic things that I don't really understand. Anyway, it's enough to be at the top sometime
It's the top contributor at the end of the month. I will run a query that pulls the total kudos submitted between the first of the month, and the last day of the month, and whoever's name has the most kudos for that month wins the $25. Not random at all.
Just mail me a bag of thumb drives, if I can send the code in. I've tried to edit this post and the internet at the university is ass, it keeps resetting and the box goes blank, and then it asks me to log in again every time I go to a new page. I'll have to do it from home... But I feel so lazy at home!

Mhrmmm.. Pyscho will be making some major money out of this.
Come on max, anyone can do more than me on any given month, its really not that hard to give back to this community. Haven't you ever been reading someone's question and thought "Hey, someone else was asking this very same thing -n- days ago", well write a tutorial on that topic and viola 50 kudos.
Thats what I do, I go through the forums where I know the language real well, and surf several pages back making a list of oft asked questions, then I sit and write a tutorial for them. Not only does that give me a direction to direct those asking that question, it helps me by keeping me in touch with my languages, so I view it as a win-win situation
