There are many ideas in my head that take more resource (free time) than I currently have. Being an environmental friendly person I have recently noticed the "green trend" from our major corporations here in America. With this in mind I believe my idea could easily be sold.
About once a month I check my mailbox (snail mail). A few days ago, while checking my mailbox, I noticed the amount of "crap" I receive. The main problem was the amount of coupons that I generally throw in the garbage. I kinda felt bad because I feel like a tree was just wasted because I don't use these coupons. Well how many people do the same as I everday?
My system would consider distributing credit card size cards that have a magnetic strip on them (much like credit cards). It would have a web based application or website where people could create an account (free of charge) and view coupons and assign them to their coupon card. This would in turn save many trees and organize your coupons onto one card. Department stores, grocery store, etc would have a card reader that can verify the coupon on the card and discount accordingly.
If anyone is interested, let me know.
