Since it's inception I've been working my way through the
MIT OpenCourseware Computer Science category. I know many of you have heard of it, but for those of you who haven't, check it out. Don't be intimidated by the fact that it's MIT. I've watched some of the lectures that are offered as video streams and contrary to what some people may think, they don't teach classes in Latin, or walk on water or anything like that.

The classes seem pretty typical as far as I can tell. Nothing too difficult or obfuscated. Obviously, some of them would be much more fulfilling with the required reading, but many of them include detailed notes, problems, problem solutions, and sometimes streaming video of all the lectures. Some of them also include a copy of the required reading as an e-book if it's legal (i.e. if the author is teaching the class or the book is free). Pretty damned cool. All that knowledge sitting thre, free for the taking.
