Was asked about it in an interview, but didn't knwo about generics as its a new feature in jdk1.5 The collections framework now uses the generics. I got to the subtyping and wildcards section and I my brain started going soupy . I jumped over here to ask if this stuff was relevant and, low-and-behold, here it is pinned. It makes a little more sense now.
