After efforts i managed to script a transmitter to send a file over a serial com. My application is a win32 console application built with Visual C 6.0
When i run my transmitter.exe the cmd console comes up and then disappears how could i run the application from my desktop without having to open the console and then type my command?

Right click on the desktop, select new, then select shortcut. You will then have to supply the full path to the program.
