"The product supports standard-definition and high-definition signal input"

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16815260010

Thats an exact copy from the newegg product page. When i opened the manual to read everything, Button #19 is the HD button. When i look how to operate and such in the manual, i check for #19 and it says:

19:This model does not support the HD feature

Seriously? This isnt the first time newegg has had misinformation about products. I bought this thing just for the HD compatibility. The thing was $75 with the cable i needed to make it operate correctly. I really do not feel like returning this thing because I have it hooked up and already gave my sister my TV that this thing was replacing. I could have gotten a $20 one if I wanted something like this.

I just want everyone to remember to look at the comments before they buy something off of newegg. Also, the remote didnt work, but that didnt bother me. Just remember to get a second reference before buying something online.

Always good advice about anything you buy online. Some great tips...

1) Check what other people have said about it first before buying.
2) Keep track of product codes if you decide to compare pricing across different sites.
3) Check up on a return policy and that it gives you ample time to return it via mail or a close retailer.
4) Look for guarantees on the product.
5) Be suspicious of pricing on a product, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is!

I will keep your warning under advisement when considering newegg ferrari. Thanks! smile.gif
