hi

while sending emails using php whta r the steps to be followed and whta r the changes made to be php.ini file pls be clearle?

on windows while sending the email using php i got an error

Warning: mail() [function.mail]: "sendmail_from" not set in php.ini or custom "From:" header missing in E:\wamp\www\suni3\emaill.php on line 6
The email(Test E-Mail (This is the subject of the E-Mail)) was NOT sent.


can any one help this problem and reply ur answers

Have you tried setting a value for "sendmail_from" inside the php.ini file?

Or, that error offers a 2nd option. Setting up a custom "From:" within the header of the php. Have a look at the snippets I've provided, as they answer the 2nd option.
