Greetings,

I've searched a bunch of different places and am trying to find a free host that will provide cold fusion hosting. This seams almost impossible as I have come back with only one result in the past couple weeks and that website says it is under construction...lol...that doesn't work for me. Have you found anything that I am looking for?

Thanks!

ADAM

I don't think that is possible for free. I don't think you could get a free service to run PHP, Java, Perl or .Net either. Same with databases.

I think that the only free servers you are going to find will only support html, javascript, and vbscript. Unless you have a friend that will let you use his, or you have it set-up for a class at the University.

There is always another alternative. You could host it yourself, on your own server, at home. You can set up an account for free through www.Dyndns.org that will point to your router, and a lot of routers have built in capability for address services through Dyndns.

Yeah...I was trying to avioid running my own server as I tried that and that is when I found another site. (I pay but get it all back in advertisements) Although, I have found many sites that will allow free hosting for PHP, Perl but I don't know about .NET or Java...interesting...

By the way...I am only trying to test scripts so do you know of a site that I can download cold fusion if I wanted to put coldfussion onto my webserver (I will just start up the computer that I have a server on...I haven't changed it for a couple of years...)

By the way...can cold fusion run on an abyss web server? Or does it matter?
